Author Interview:
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
ABCs of Safe Web Surfing is the latest book. A few years ago, I regifted my nephew an IPad and I recall explaining to his mom several conditions of use to protect him. This is the book I should have written at the time instead of sending his mom a laundry list of digital literacy guidelines with the IPad. Good news, he now has this book and loves it.
What inspired you to write your first book?
I was exploring new methods for fundraising for my nonprofit AROC – A Resource for Orientation in Computers. With the children’s book series, we can inspire the community and raise funds to support our scholarships offered.

Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?
Keeping the message simple enough for kids and their care takers to understand.
If you had to give up either snacks and drinks during writing sessions, or music, which would you find more difficult to say goodbye to?
Music. Music is key to my creative flow in life not solely when writing stories.
Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
It is inspiring to learn how the books have impacted their lives. It encourages me to write more.
